Her background
Despite a personal history of ovarian cysts and fibroids, conditions that disproportionately affect Black women and are routinely undertreated in medical literature and clinical practice, she created a personalized, evidence-based, and culturally informed protocol to conceive two children naturally.

Kopela Health exists at the intersection where holistic health meets scientific rigor, helping women navigate fertility with protocols designed around their specific biology, cultural context, and reproductive goals.
Professionally, Cyntia brings more than a decade of experience in drug development and clinical science. She completed a competitive NIH T32 Clinical Pharmacology Fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine, where she served as a consulting pharmacist in the Personalized Medicine Clinic, co-designed treatment plans for patients with rare and untreated genetic diseases, and conducted research on female patients while studying how genes, race, and comorbid conditions impact fertility. Her published work spans coronary artery disease biomarkers, pharmacology, and fetal anomaly ontology.
